Herbie Baby

What a Smasher!

Herbie came to us at the end of 2009 and has matured into a wonderful collie during the last three-and-a-months.   He was rather nervous when he first arrived so we waited a little while before he went to the vets to be neutered.   As he loves other dogs - and not just collies - we felt confident his forever home should be with a canine companion who would make Herbie feel at home and take on the role of looking after him.

Thank you

A special thank-you to Susan at Acresway Kennels near Southend-on-Sea for gifting Herbie to us and allowing us to find a new home for him.

And we must record our sincere thanks to Jeanette for all her help in walking Herbie with us on the racecourse.  We know how much you love him and we know he'll never forget you.

Herbie went to his new home in mid April 2010 and we are so proud to learn he has settled with his new owners so quickly.  He has already been away on a motor-home weekend meeting in Lincolnshire and, as you can see below, he and Skip (his new pal) took over the settee right from the start.  Meeting up with Julie, Geoff and Skip a couple of times before Herbie went to them permanently has definitely paid off.  Herbie is one chilled out collie and we will look forward to seeing him again when we do our follow-up visit in a few weeks time.   Thank you Julie and Geoff for taking such good care of him - we know how much he means to you.
