I have a new Mum, she adopted me 18 months ago because she just fell in love with me when we met. When I went into her home I was a bit upset at first because my other Mum & Dad didn't really want to let me go, but they just had to. Anyway, the man in the house had a cocker spaniel, he was OK, but was always in my face, wrecked my bed, chewed my toys to bits and was a general pest. Mum and me are on our own now and I just love it. I love meeting friends in the woods, or over the fields and do you know what, I would really like a new friend but I will stick to my own sort. We are so placid and we do know how to share with lots of love to give in return. I am only 3 so I have lots of love and years to give to my Mum and another friend if she finds one! x
Alfie joined us last Christmas and I am so happy now. He is only 15 months old and his family are emigrating to Australia and have decided that it will be too hot for him. I will try to make him happy here, he seems to love me so I guess Mum will spoil him as much as she spoils me. Life is great now....:)
Well, nearly 2 years have gone by now and we are just great. As you can see, Alfie, (sable and white), has turned out a fabulous mate. He guards me with his life, he is very choosy what dogs are allowed to play with me, I think he loves me now. Please don't tell him, but I really love him a lot more than just a play mate. We do have fun with our Mum, she takes us on fabulous walks and guess where we are spending Christmas and the New Year - you got it wrong, we are going to France. Mais oui. Oohh la la. Yes, We now have our passports and are looking forward to going from Portsmouth to St Malo and then a ride in our car to Mum's friend. OMG, have we both got a lovely new home.
