rough collie rescue midlands

Our long-awaited second Collie Convention will be taking place on Sunday 6 October 2013 in Stratford-upon-Avon.

It will be a wonderful opportunity to indulge yourself in rough collie matters and perhaps some collie therapy for those of you who are currently without a companion.

Indoor venue available if weather is inclement.

Everyone who attended last year had a fantastic time. Over 40 collies and their owners came along and we're hoping that this year's event will attract even more.

Please email or phone us for further information. Thanks.

if your going tommorrow and using google maps to find the way use the postcodes or google will direct you to the wrong entrance to the racecourse taking you down paddock lane instead of luddington road which is further along the a439,cheers see you there.

Dear Chris and Ros thanks for arranging today! It was a great venue and wonderful to see so many lovely dogs. It was a long day from Surrey but well worth it and great socialisation for our 3 girls (Bronte tri, and the 2 blues Cassie and Honey). They are snoozing by the wood burner tired after tea and a busy social life. We will send pictures when down loaded of today for all those interested. It was great to meet so many fellow dog lovers and hope that those looking for new additions find them soon. I will keep you posted if I hear of any down this way looking for homes. Many thanks Anne and Steve, Bron, cass and Honey Hurford xxxxx

David, so glad you enjoyed the 2013 Collie Convention. It was wonderful to see Ben again. He's looking in great condition and so happy to be your companion. We couldn't have asked for better weather and we were so proud of the fantastic way in which all the dogs interacted with each other. There's no doubt the day was a resounding success .... roll on 2014!

Hi Anne & Steve
It was great to see you both and your lovely girls at our get-together. Such different personalities and so happy! So glad you took some photos; catching up with so many friends distracted us from getting out the camera. It will be great to share some on the website so we can all look back on such a fantastic autumn day when we are all freezing in the winter. Thanks for sharing your girls with those currently without a collie - it was the best tonic they could wish for. Glad to read you got back home safe and sound - thanks for taking the time out to travel up to the Midlands. Your support is so very much appreciated. Take care and give the girls a big hug from us.
